The next London Machine Learning Meetup will feature guest speaker Ofir Press (University of Washington).

Ofir is famous for inventing ALiBi (the position embedding method of BigScience’s BLOOM model, MosaicML’s LMs, Replit’s LMs, and many others.) amongst many other advancements in large language model research. He will be discussing his current views on the field and what future directions excite him.
