Don't miss out - in person AI meetup next Wednesday!
'Large Language Models Are Neurosymbolic Reasoners' - Wed 27th March, 6pm ... and free food and drink!
I would like to invite anyone interested in the future of AI to our meetup next Wednesday, March 27th. It's a great opportunity to meet other members of the AI community in London, while drinking free beer. We are generously sponsored by the hedge fund, Man Group. We will probably go to the pub afterwards.
There will be a talk to kick off the discussion, ‘Large Language Models Are Neurosymbolic Reasoners’ - Meng Fang (Assistant Professor, University of Liverpool).
Why is this topic interesting: It's a matter of intense debate whether LLMs are able to perform symbolic reasoning all by themselves, or whether they need need external symbolic reasoning modules. People like Gary Marcus argue that the path to AGI (whatever that is) is going to have to include more than just deep learning. Let's discuss.
Why you should come: to meet like-minded people and become part of our friendly community. Also for the free food and drink.
I would highly recommend signing up, as there are limited spaces left.
